Beginner 1.0 Class

This beginner Mahjong 1.0 class is a two hour lesson with a skilled instructor. The class is designed to give you a comprehensive introduction to the American version of the game played by National Mahjong League Rules. We will focus on tile recognition, card reading mechanics and hands on practice. Everything needed for the lesson including tiles, mats, racks/pushers, dice and NMJL card are provided. This class is part one of a two-part beginner series. Registration for Beginner 2.0 is recommended but not required to attend Dogwood Mahjong Social Club Open Play events.
