Beginner 1.0 and 2.0 Class Series

This beginner Mahjong class series is comprised of two separate two-hour lessons with a skilled instructor. The 1.0 class is designed to give you a comprehensive introduction to the American version of the game played by National Mahjong League Rules. We will focus on tile recognition, card reading mechanics and hands on practice. The 2.0 class is designed to build on your basic knowledge learned in 1.0. We cover the elements of the deal, the Charleston, hand selection and joker play. Everything needed for the lesson including tiles, mats, racks/pushers, dice and NMJL card are provided. Completion of this beginner series will provide you with the skills to comfortably jump into Open Play!
